Amy Poehler is set to star in this highly anticipated comedy project called “Parks and Recreation”. It will star Ms. Poehler as a do-gooder of local government, and will be produced in the same style as “The Office” is. Amy Poehler will play Leslie Knope, the head of the Parks and Recreation department in Indiana. Leslie Knope takes a big project to turn a construction zone into a beautiful park. Leslie will also be mentoring a college intern while she works in park development.

Amy’s character, Leslie is described as a “mid-level bureaucrat in the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Indiana” who hopes to advance her career and improve her town, while working towards her goal of becoming the first female president of the United States of America.

Rashida Jones playing as Ann Logan is a nurse who is helping Leslie with her project of transforming a construction area pit into a park.

Aubrey Plaza playing April will be Leslie’s bored college intern who Leslie is trying to inspire, and maybe in the process, inspire herself.

Paul Schneider playing Mark is Leslie’s co-worker, and love interest in this TV show.

Nick Offerman playing Rob will be Leslie’s boss at the Parks and Recreation center.

Chris Pratt will be playing Ann’s “loser musician boyfriend”. Ann is a nurse, and Leslie’s helper with her park project.
